“Listening” - It’s More Than Hearing!
More than 35 business studies rank listening as the number one skill for entry-level positions and promotions (experience ranks 12th and GPA ranks 16th). The effect of listening is remarkable on the speaker, the listener, and the relationship. Studies show that ineffective listening accounts for as much as 70% of miscommunication. After all, it is only through listening well that we are able to respond well.
